Student Tour Highlights

Culture Adventure Education Ecology

Enviro Trips™ students will have a unique opportunity to explore the diversity and beauty of the province of Victoria – its spectacular coastal drives, scenic Alpine region, traditional market places and World ranked Universities.  Our student trips commence in The World’s most lovable and liveable city of Melbourne and the 4 -5 days we spend in Victoria gives our students ample chance to explore the region in-depth.

Our journey then continues to the breath-taking island of Tasmania, often referred to as a “curious” island on the edge of the World.   The rest of World gets to see its splendour through National Geographic documentaries – whereas our students will see and explore first-hand its varied landscapes, flora and fauna during their school trip.  We visit and explore various national parks and conservation areas, study about native grasslands and the challenges they face from pasture species, trek through rain forests and glaciers, explore marine bio-diversity areas, learn the ancient art of wooden boat building and so much more.

Here are some of highlights of our school trips to Victoria and Tasmania in Australia.

National Parks & Conservation areas

Tasmania’s outstanding national park system offers visitors a wide choice of opportunities to discover spectacular landscapes – from highlands carved by glaciers to quiet, solitary beaches;  from cool & silent rainforests to colourful, alpine wilderness wildflowers.  Tasmania’s 19 national parks encompass a diversity of unspoiled habitats and ecosystems which offer refuge to unique and often ancient plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth.  Our students on Enviro Trips™ explore this  treasure trove of learning, adventure and fun.

Culture & Heritage of Australia

Our students learn about the Western Australian culture derived  primarily from Britain but also influenced by the unique geography of Australia, the diverse input of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and other Oceanian people.  Their school travel will expose them to the  significant Anglo-Celtic heritage which includes the predominance of the English language, the existence of a democratic system of government drawing upon the British traditions of Westminster Government, Parliamentarianism and constitutional monarchy.

Our students participate in several treks in varied landscapes exploring the biodiversity of this beautiful land. It is said that when it comes to trekking and outdoors destinations, Australia really is spoilt for choice.  From beach walks to grassland trails, hikes through gorges to steep slopes of the Alpine region, treks in the rain forests of South West Tasmania to the native eucalyptus land covers …. There is so much to learn and explore.  Enviro Trips™ conducts several treks during their travels to Australia to cover most of the ecological features of this land. Students will have the rare opportunity to explore, study, document and most of all – have a great outdoor time with their friends.
